Shelby Thompson

This week:

• Continued to work with PubFig83 dataset• Saved .mat files for each training and testing

image• .mat files include information about the file in

MatLab format

This week:

• Put all training files in different folders• Had trouble using these files, so changed it to

all .mat files in the same folder

This week:

• Next step was to load all of the training features

• Created an identity matrix by comparing the values of the training features

Working On Now:

• Creating a similarity matrix for the training images

• Graphing said matrix

Goals For The Coming Week:

• Continue to work and experiment with feature extraction

• Work on my current code to make it work for files in multiple folders

• Attend the Harris REU Tour
