Each student will be able to compete in two individual events and a team relay. FRESH AND EASY

Shop for Schools Fundraiser: It is a fresh and very easy!!! All you have to do is shop at Fresh and Easy from Nov. 1st until Dec. 31st. and they will give us $1 back to our school for every $20 we spend. Save your receipts and turn them in to the Green Fresh and Easy envelope posted in your child's classroom. There will be a class contest for the class with the highest dollar amount turned in by December 31st. The prize will be a free sports day dress pass, lunch and recess in the park with a special dessert.

CROSSROADS AT THE CROSSINGS

Tuesday November 30th - "Crossroads at the Crossings" Join us in some Holiday shopping and Holiday Dining at various shops and restaurants located throughout the Crossings shopping area. Stores will be set up to give back a percentage of the bill to Crossroads School. Students will receive a No homework pass when they check in at the command post. Plan now for a family night at the Crossings.

HIGH SCHOOL STOMP CONCERT

Join us on Thursday, November 4th, in our

chapel from 7-8pm. Enjoy an entertaining, clamoring performance by our high school music students, under the direction of Ben Stultz. Tickets are $5.00 at the door. Proceeds support the music department.

This year our Middle School Musical called N.R.G. will be all about SHOW CHOIR, with incredible musical production numbers, solos and more. The cast has chosen Colossians 1:29 as their theme verse, “To this end I labor, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in me.” Set aside March 25 and 26. Tickets will go on sale in March. To help the cast offset the cost of their costumes, they will be selling and taking orders for delicious, home made, caramel/chocolate apples all week for $6.00. These delicious apples have been graciously made by one of our school moms, Lanai Khraich). Enjoy this fabulous fall treat and support N.R.G.

Cougars Keep Winning Streak Going In A Close Game With Westside Westside’s big hitters gave the Cougars a good match, but fine defensive play kept the game close. Beginning in the fourth inning the Cougars strong hitting came through giving them their fourth straight win. The final score was 11 to 4. The last two games of the season will be at home, beginning with Bethel on November 2

nd.

YEARBOOK HELP! If you are interested in helping create this year’s Elementary yearbook, here are some ways to help.

• PICTURES: We need lots of pictures! If you are attending any school events, don’t forget to bring your camera and snap pictures. We want to capture all the fun taking place this year! After an event we would love a copy of your pictures on a CD. CDs can be turned in to Tricia in the Elementary Office. Right now we are collecting pictures from First Day of School, Siblings, Grandfriends Day, and Jog-A-Thon. Pictures for these events must be turned in by Nov. 10th to be in the yearbook.

• PAGE DESIGNERS: We are looking for some creative people to design some of the yearbook pages on the computer. If this sounds interesting to you please contact Tricia in the Elementary Office.

Cheerleading – Open to Grades K –2nd, 3rd through 5th K-2nd Wednesdays, 2:30 to 3:30pm., February 2, 9, 16, 23 & March 2nd 3rd – 5th Thursdays, 2:45 to 3:45 p.m., February 3, 9, 16, 23 & March 3rd

Students will be taught basic dance and cheers. More information will be released later. Free 8.5” handball to the first 30 students to register. Fee is $45.00 for 5 weeks. Fee includes end of session refreshments & awards.

Awards & Last Week of Dodgeball …has changed to Wednesday, November 10th. November 10th is a minimum day so dodgeball will begin at 11:45am. At 11:30am a small snack will be provided, then games will run from 11:45am until 12:30pm. At 12:35pm pizza and drinks will be provided and trophies will be given out after all the game standings are added up. Students will be ready to pick-up around 1:15pm. K-Sports Fall (Flag Football & Kickball) Tuesdays after school. Students will be picked up at class. This week we will be working on flag football, kick offs and kick off returns. Be sure to take a look at football pictures in your student’s room and on the elementary front office window…Mini football players are sooo cute! Flag Football - Open to Grades 1st through 5th Wednesdays, 2:45 to 4 p.m., November 17, December 1, 8, 15 (4 weeks ONLY)

This skill-building program will focus on the basics. In addition to skills, students will participate in game play (students will be divided into grade levels for play). Includes end-of-season refreshments, participation awards, and flag football belts (flag belts given away on the last day). Fee is $40.00 for 4 weeks. Rainouts will be added to the end of the session.
