WEEK ONE: EasterBig Idea: Jesus is alive!
What is your favourite part of Easter? What does your family do to celebrate Easter?What (or who) is Easter really about?
Read the Easter Story from a children’s Bible (or the Bible App for Kids). Ask: Is this a sad story or a happy one? Who is in the story? What are they doing?Say: One awesome thing that we can celebrate is that Jesus doesn’t stay dead. Nope! Jesus is alive! That’s so cool we should have a dance party to celebrate!
Take some time to sing and dance along to “Jesus is Alive!” from The Meeting House Kids Music.
Say: Jesus died to show us God’s big love for us. It’s hard to understand, but Jesus didthis to show us he loved us so much. And, Jesus is alive and still loves us.
Pray and take time to tell Jesus how much you love him!
