In the week ended 16th December 2016, AcuComm added 46 new or updated waste projects
to our Business Database, worth an estimated US$3,399 million and waste capacity of just
over 9.9 million tonnes.
This takes the cumulative total to 4,602 active projects since 2013,
with a total estimated investment value of US$353.6 billion.

incineration was the largest category, accounting for just
over 3.4 million tonnes.
The total estimated power generation from these projects
was 638 MW. WtE incineration was the largest category,
accounting for 349 MW.
