MISSION OUTREACH

LEARN

End Time Classes taught by Pastor Anthony will break for VBS week and resume on

Wednesday August 26 at 6:30 (Rm. 4 & 5).

SERVE

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS are still needed for our summer VBS, Bible

Blast from the Past, August 17-21. Group guides and assisstants (move kids from

station to station) are particularly needed. Jr. and Sr. High School students as well as

adults are encouraged to sign up in the Foyer TODAY! Training is tonight - see the

info below:

TRAINING FOR VBS VOLUNTEERS is TONIGHT at 6:00 PM in the Family Center.

Pizza, salad, and dessert will be served. Please bring your driver’s license to update

your background check.

Hospital Visitation Team Forming! Would you like to be part of a hospital visitation

team? Pastor Gildner and Pastor Anthony are looking for folks who would join them

in calling on fellow Centralites while in the hospital. If you have the willingness to

serve a few hours a month in this important ministry, please notify Pastor Jon by

phone (810.235.5671) or by email ([email protected]). We will hold a

meeting / training in the next few weeks.

SUMMER FEST Volunteers - SUMMER FEST is Sunday, August 23 from 5-8 PM! Many

volunteers will be needed to help in a variety of areas at this fun for all ages event!

If you can help please register in the Foyer or on the Communication Form.

ADULT MINISTRY

Adult Ministry Game Day is Thursday, August 20 from 10 AM-2 PM in Rm. 3. We

will have a potluck lunch at 12:00 PM, please bring a dish to pass. Park and use the

4-South entrance.

Lloyd Severance Gospel Music Convention is Saturday, August 22 at Bay Shore

Camp in Sebawaing, MI. Bus transportation is available; the bus will leave the west

parking lot at 9:00 AM. There is no cost to attend.

Gerald Ford Museum, Grand Rapids trip is Tuesday, September 15. Tickets are $20

which includes museum admission and lunch at Arnie’s. Bus transportation is

available; the bus will leave the west parking lot at 9:00 AM. Purchase your tickets in

the Foyer.

MEN’S MINISTRY

Men’s Prayer is Saturday at 8:00 AM in Rm. 16. Park and use the 3-East entrance.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Women’s Bible Studies “Reclaiming Eve’ (Rm. 3) and ‘Spiritual Classics’ (Rm. 7) will

break for VBS week and resume on Wednesday, August 26 at 6:30 PM.

Women’s Prayer Group, Women Witnessing Miracles will break for VBS week and

resume on Wednesday, August 26 in Rm. 14.

Friendship Registers are located at the right side of each pew. When they are

passed, please print your name, address, phone and email address in the red area

if you are a guest or the black area if you attend on a regular basis.

Pastor Rob looks forward to meeting you. He will be available in the Foyer following

services each Sunday morning. We also have volunteers available at our Guest

Services desk in the Foyer if you have any questions or need special assistance.

Nursing mother’s room is available in the Nursery. It is equipped with a changing

table, rocking chair, and audio of the service.

Hearing devices are available for today’s services at the Guest Services Desk.

It’s that time again! MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) & now NEW this year

graders) begins October 1. Registrations are due

First Bible Class for incoming first grade parents will take place Sunday, August 30
