The Gift Of Forgiveness andLetting Go with Afsaneh Noori Guest speaker, Iranian born, Afsaneh

Noori of UUC Tampa will deliver hermessage of forgiveness. Afsaneh tellsher story of childhood abuse and herjourney from victimhood to claiming her power through forgiveness. Sheinvites the gathered to explore wherein their lives, they see themselves as victims and how they too can begin theprocess of changing that perceptionand giving themselves the gift of letting  go.

Change Thrivers: Women’s Circle

 Workshop The circle discusses life changes and askquestions, and lead to powerfultransformations about change. The group discusses change with Afsaneh, anexpert with 20 years experience inmanaging organizational and personalchange. Although every person’scircumstances are unique, everyonelearns from the discussion and can apply the techniques to their situation as wellas having the opportunity to findsolutions involving their particularchange. Join us in the Emerson Room on June 26th from 2pm-4pm, Cost: $20,RSVP to the office by June 18th.( Minimum of 10 participants isrequired. )

Committee up date- we needeveryone who had volunteeredto provide services int eh pastand all newcomers to add theirnames to the most appropriatelist which is posted on thebulletin board next to thekitchen. See Connie Bartels,Caring Committee Chair withany questions.

PLEDGE CHECKS

 At this time of year the officeis still receiving checks thatapply to our current fiscal yearspledges, running from July 1,2010- June 30, 2011. On top of that checks are also coming intoward next fiscal yearspledges, running from July 1,2011- June 3o, 2012. In order toavoid confusion in our recordsand yours the Office Administrator asks that whensubmitting checks in theoff ering plate please specify it’sdesignation on the “memo”line:If it is for THIS yearspledge write: “2010- 2011”, If it isfor NEXT years pledge write:“2011- 2012”
