• Rain expected: TheMidwest, Great Lakes, Southern Plains and Northeast will see showers andthunderstorms early in the week. The Central and Southern Plains are likely to see severethunderstorms. Rain is expected along the East Coast and monsoonal showers will be seenthroughouttheSouthwest.

• Normaltemperaturefortheweekend:TheUSwillseetemperaturesnearnormalfortheweekend.TheEastwillbewarmerthan lastyear,whiletheWestwillseecoolertemperatures.ShowersareexpectedintheSouthernTierandwillbescatteredintheMid-Atlantic.
