This is the first 6 weeks of the schedule that I put together of things that I’ve added to our WinterPromise’s American Story 2 study. There are many things that I’ve added for our family. There are even more books, lapbooks, notebook pages, hand-on activities and more. I’ve made up a schedule because our family has always added stuff to our study and this way it is easier for my husband to help homeschool our children if I am not able to. Also in hopes that our schooling will go along more smoothly. I want you to know that you don’t have to do it all. I understand that there is lots in the WinterPromise program itself and I’ve added even more to it. So don’t feel bad about not doing it all. I want to say that a few of the books at I have chosen are actually subsitutes to books that I have dropped from WinterPromise’s American Story 2. I have done this because some of the books just didn’t go well with our family or there are books that I wanted to add instead. I have also added in the ISBN numbers of the books that I’ve add. This is to makes it easier for you to find if you want to buy them or get them at your local library. I’ve also add in lots of videos clips and movies for you to watch. Many are okay for young children, but there will be a few that may not be good for your young child to watch. You might want to preview some of the clips and movies to make sure they are okay for your family. All families are different and I’m sure yours is very different from ours. There are things that we allow our children to watch that you might not. So I just want to warn you. I hope enjoy the first six weeks. I will be adding more as we go along. And hopefully the full schedule before then end of the year as I finish making up the schedule. So please keep checking in .
