Custom AssemblyInformation Video

Components can be assembled in a variety of different ways, and custom assembly operations are developed to provide the most efficient and cost effective operation.

Resistance WeldingResistance welding is defined as a process whereby force is applied to surfaces in contact and in which the heat for welding is produced by the passage of electric current through the electrical resistance at, and adjacent to, these surfaces.

Laser (Beam) WeldingLaser beam welding (LBW) is a welding technique used to join multiple pieces of metal through the use of a laser. The beam provides a concentrated heat source, allowing for narrow, deep welds and high welding rates.

Heat (Thermoplastic ) StakingThermoplastic staking, also known as heat staking, uses heat to deform the plastic boss, instead of cold forming. A plastic stud protruding from one component fits into a hole in the second component.

CrimpingCrimping is joining two pieces of metal or other ductile material by deforming one or both of them to hold the other. The bend or deformity is called the crimp.

CoatingThin films of material bonded to metals in order to add specific surface properties, such as corrosion or oxidation resistance, color, attractive appearance, wear resistance, optical properties, electrical resistance, or thermal protection.

Joining

Thermal joining processes in which the molten filler metal is drawn into a capillary gap between two closely fitting surfaces.

Component AssemblyComponents can be assembled in a variety of different ways, and custom assembly operations are developed with the customer.
