Dear Tenants... I can’t believe we’re on the final stretch of 2016. The upcoming weeks will soon consist of holiday decorations, holiday parties, holiday baking, and, of course, holiday shopping, all of which can lead to holiday stress. One way to alleviate this stress is to start your shopping right here at 100 North Tampa. Whether shopping for a family member, friend, or co-worker, we’ll have something for everyone. For the book lover in your life, we have the Book Fair coming to our lobby on November 8th and 9th. I’ve also scheduled several vendors in the conference room who will offer everything from jewelry to chair massages to tote bags and leggings. Don’t forget I have discounted tickets to Straz Center shows, including: An American in Paris, Something Rotten, Finding Neverland, The Little Mermaid, and Motown. The Straz Center tickets are easy on your budget, too. You can pay half when you purchase and then pay the remaining balance 30 days prior to the show. Not sure what to give someone? How about movie tickets for AMC or Carmike theatres, even gift cards for Gateway Newsstand and Charlie’s Shoeshine! I can help you with any of these items. So take a break and shop where you work. It’s a great way to relieve some of the holiday stress and cross a few items off your shopping list. Thank you for your ongoing kindness and generosity and Happy Holidays! Katrina Balentyne Concierge | Cushman & Wakefield As a thank you to each of our wonderful tenants, our annual holiday breakfast will be Wednesday, December 14th from 8-10am. Come hungry as we will have a gourmet smorgasbord of breakfast goodies catered by Puff N Stuff Catering. Our own Hemant Patel will provide the coffee bar, and we’ll have entertainment from Evelyn Pupello’s Suzuki violin method students from the Hillsdale Fine Arts Academy and Caroline Wetterlund performing on the piano and flute. We hope you can join us in celebrating the season in our final hospitality event of the year. The children performing at our holiday breakfast are all students at the Hillsdale Fine Arts Academy. HFAA provides weekly music lessons to students of all ages from several degreed, experienced faculty members. Piano, flute, harp, violin, brass, and woodwinds are a few of the classes offered. We are quite excited to see these children perform and hope you enjoy their performance. 100 North Tampa Management Office Suite 2135, 813.221.7195 Senior Property Manager: Cal Buikema Property Manager: Venus Rodriguez Director of Leasing: Phil Dinkins Sr. Chief Operating Engineer: Paul Baker Corporate Concierge: Katrina Balentyne Property Administrator: Lizbeth Strother Building Amenities Conference Center • 221-7180 Suite 2140, available by the hour or week Parking Garage Office • 222-1487 Level 4, Weekdays: 8 am to noon Sun Country Cleaners • (727) 535-9930 Fourth floor drop locker www.suncountrycleaners.com Carwash by Ramos • 549-9036 Parking Garage Entrance Weekdays: 8 am to 5 pm www.carwashbyramos.com YMCA • 222-1334 Lower level, 5:30 am to 7 pm Gateway Newsstand • 228-0259 Parking Garage Lobby • 7 am to 4:30 pm Charlie’s Shoeshine • 270-3968 Parking Garage Lobby, 9 am to 4 pm Building Hours: Monday-Friday 7am to 7pm Special access is required on Saturday & Sunday. We offer competitive rates, discounts for our corporate partners, a referral program, and many other amenities. Come down and take a tour, and receive a FREE 3 day guest pass for checking us out. We guarantee you will love the friendly atmosphere, and the convenience of a wellness facility so close to your office. Staying on track during the holidays –For many, the holidays mean falling off the workout/diet wagon, drinking like a fish and eating as if there were no tomorrow. We’ve all been there. You have good intentions of not overindulging and getting in your regular workouts, but the family and friend gatherings and delicious food and drink gets the better of us. All is not lost, here are some tips to help you get through your holiday social events:BE REAL: Allow a little indulgence. Eat good protein and lots of veggie first. Then allow yourself a small serving of your favorite…ARRIVE HALF FULL: Eat a large salad or protein shake and a big glass of water before going out. BYOD: If it’s potluck, bring your own healthy option. A veggie tray with hummus and vegetarian or turkey chili are satisfying choices. GET IN A WORKOUT BEFORE THE EVENT: You feel energized and less likely to want to overindulge. With a little mindfulness and preparation, you can enjoy the holidays and still fit into your holiday fashions.
