Late Work

It is expected that you will turn in your work ON OR BEFORE THE DUE DATE. No late work will be accepted 3 days after assigned due date. You can earn no higher than a 70 on late work.

Absences/Make-Up Work You have the same number of days you were absent to turn in missed

work. YOU are responsible for obtaining your make-up work. Make-up work cannot be given to you during instruction time. You will need to meet with me before or after class to get your work.

State Law requires that students must be in attendance for a minimum of 90% of the days that the class is offered in order to receive credit for that course. Students who miss more than 10% (or more than 4 absences PER semester) could lose credit and be retained.

In other words, do NOT miss class.

Tardies

A student who is not in the classroom when the bell rings is considered tardy. Tardy students will only be allowed in the room without a tardy pass.

Two or more tardies in a week equal a Saturday school, during which you will have to complete a packet of work and stay for four hours on a Saturday morning on campus to make up the seat time you missed.
