A bit about meCapturing New Life As a mummy myself to a headstrong, cheeky, but beautiful 2 year old daughter, I truly believe there is not a moment more magical than when you become a parent. It is an honour to be a part of capturing this amazing process, documenting one of the most special times in life. Children are incredible beings. They teach us so much about human nature, the essence of life, and living in the present. My job in photographing these wonderful little ones goes far beyond just snapping a few photos of your newest family member; I aim to capture a unique moment in time and the emotions along with it. The photos from your session will become a family treasure to be enjoyed again and again.

Why Come To MeThere is nothing that makes me happier than recieving an email from a mum to tell me she’s so in love with the image on her wall. Whether you’re thinking of a newborn session with your newest addition, or a family session in the park, I want people to walk away with memories they’ll display, rather than keep on a phone! I only photograph babies, children and families, so my studio, training and expertise is entirely in this field. A member of the Guild of Photographers and an award winner for my images, I put my heart in to making each session a special time for you and your family.


Choosing your sessionLifestyle SessionsWe find that lifestyle portraits are an ideal way to portray the raw emotion of the moment. Whether this be with your newborn, baby, toddler or older children, at your home or in the park. Candid images, unposed, artistically capture things just as they are; real moments frozen in time for you and your family to enjoy over and over. Your gallery wil include images of mum and dad, siblings, and even the family pet. A typical lifestyle session lasts anywhere from 1 to 2 hours.


Choosing your sessionStudio Sessions - Newborns and BabiesStudio sessions may take a bit more time and pa tience than lifestyle (especially newborns), but it’s well worth the work! With a bit of planning and cooperation from baby, posed sessions result in images that will undoubt edly be popular among family & friends. Soft blan kets and coordinated wraps, hats, and headbands surround your little one while we capture him or her slumbering in doll-like poses. A typical posed session may last anywhere from 2 to 4 hours, and can incorporate mum, dad and siblings too.


Choosing your sessionStudio Sessions - Older Babies and FamiliesThese allow us to have a little more fun, I can capture you as a family, or maybe you want to document your toddler in their wibbly wobbly stage, or maybe just before they go off to school. Whatever the reason a studio session can be as short as 40 minutes / 1 hour, yet you’ll still walk away with a beautiful selection of images that you can cherish.

Maternity sessionsA maternity session is meant to document the wonder of the beautiful life growing on the inside. Maternity sessions are some of my favourites, because they are a combination of beauty and love. It is my job as your photographer to capture that love you have, both for your significant other and for your baby. Imagine how amazing it will be for your baby to look back on these photos one day, and to see the expression on your face, showing how much love you already have for him or her.

Full maternity sessions can be lifestyle in your home, or they may take place in one of our city’s beautiful outdoor locations, or of course in the studio.

Mini maternity sessions are also an option when booked with a newborn session. Mini sessions are 20 minutes, and are generally Monday- Thursday. Please ask me for more details.

When to Schedule We recommend maternity sessions to take place between 32-36 weeks of pregnancy. What to Wear The clothes you choose for your session will play a vital role in how you feel during the session and about your photographs. We want to show off your beautiful form, so be sure to choose clothing that accentuates your belly! We love long flowing dresses and skirts in soft pastels, neutrals, and whites, but the most important thing is for you to feel good about what you are wearing. Confidence is key, so make sure you are feeling beautiful and comfortable. I do keep a selection of maternity gowns on hand for mums to wear. Pre-Session Pampering Please take some time to pamper yourself before your session. Some ideas are to have your hair and makeup professionally done, get your nails done, or take a relaxing bubble bath. Put aside a few hours for yourself to feel fabulous. The best photo graphs are taken when expectant mothers are re laxed and confident, and able to just be them selves without the life’s day to day stresses weigh ing on them. Make it a special, fun, and memora ble day just for you!


‘When I Was Little’ sessionsThese are a perfect way to document your little one’s first year / years. Three individual sessions, at key milestones.

Whether it starts with a newborn session, then one of your baby at 7 months when they are sitting and beginning to crawl, and then a cake smash at a year to celebrate their birthday.

Or maybe start at 4 months, when that personality begins to show, and then at a year, and then 2 years, its entirley up to you. The three sessions will be crafted so you have a beautiful selection of images after session 3 that you can show together and see how much your little treasure has changed!


ALL FULL SESSIONS INCLUDE A 1-2 HOUR SESSION (2-4 FOR NEWBORNS} PLUS A VIEWING GALLERY OF 15-25 EDITED IMAGES.

SESSION FEE IS DUE AT THE TIME OF BOOKING IN ORDER TO SECURE YOUR DATE. SESSION FEES DO NOT INCLUDE DIGITAL FILES OR PRODUCT, BOTH OF WHICH ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AFTER YOUR SESSION. COLLECTIONS AND A LA CARTE PRICING ARE LISTED ON THE SUBSEQUENT PAGES.

We were naturally nervous before the shoot…would our little boy sleep too little/too much? Would he be OK with no nappy? Would he need to feed halfway through? Emma is totally unphased by any of this and we were completely at ease the moment we met her. As it turned out, little Freddy didn’t sleep a wink throughout the entire shoot but Emma managed to capture some absolutely beautiful shots of him that we will genuinely treasure forever.
