Welcome to Jim Sheldrake We would like to welcome Jim Sheldrake as our congregation's new choir di-rector. Jim and his wife, Kathy have relocated to South Florida where she has family. Although retired from the Walt Disney Corporation, Jim's church jobs have included Baptist and United Methodist congregations with his most recent work happening at Killearn United Methodist Church in Tallahassee. Along with singing and directing, Jim is also a talented trumpet player.
Easter Sunrise Ushers Needed St. Peter's United Methodist Church has participated in the Wellington Commu-nity Easter Sunrise Service since its inception. We are once again providing support and leadership for this community worship service that will be on Sun-day, April 21. We have been asked to provide six ushers for this year's service. If you are able to help in this capacity, please talk to Pastor Mark. Building Better Moms Underwear Drive for Kid’s Kloset Our fourth annual Underwear Drive is scheduled for March 26-April 25. This project will benefit the boys and girls who are served by Kid’s Kloset. BBM is grateful for donations of new, packaged and unopened, underwear for children. Please bring these to the foyer of the sanctuary.
Have You Noticed…..Our Family Life Center, which includes the classroom wing and gym, looks brand new. The cracks have been sealed and the exterior wall painted. The interior walls of the gym are freshly painted as well. The pro-jector systems are in the works for the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall. We are very excited about completing this project. We very much appreciate your do-nations and the volunteer hours spent on improving our campus. We are still seeking donations in order to complete these renovations.
Volunteers Needed For Prepping the Sanctuary for Sundays We are in need of a few individuals who would like to assist in preparing the sanctuary for Sunday services. It involves an hour on Tuesday mornings, 9:00-10:00am. Call 793-5712 x 13 if this is something you might like to do.
Infant Nursery & Toddler Nursery Volunteers Volunteers are needed to provide dependable, safe, secure, and nurturing care to the children while at our Church, ages 0-4 years in a clean environment. Contact Shelly Albright at [email protected] for more info.
St. Peter's United Methodist Church is in search of a full-time director of youth ministries. The applicant should be a Christian of strong conviction with enthusiasm mixed with confidence, authority and compassion. As this is a job that requires a variety of hours, the applicant and family members, if applica-ble, should be aware of the non-traditional work schedule involved with this position. Interested persons can submit questions or a resume to [email protected].
Vacation Bible School– June 10-14 This year's theme is ROAR! Life is Wild God is Good This epic African adventure engages the whole herd. At Roar kids explore God's goodness and celebrate a ferocious faith that powers them through this wild life.
We welcome you to worship today and would love the opportunity to get to know you! Please complete the Connection Card located on the right side of the bulletin and place it in the offering plate. We use this information to connect you to ministry leaders and pastoral staff. Visit our Welcome Cart outside after church for more information regarding our church. Please join us for coffee,
