Tour Itinerary Nov 5 Sun Arrive Izmir

Arrive Izmir at 8:50 am on PC3161. Meet with TUTKU TOURS sign.Transfer to your hotel. Visit the St

Policarp Church, Archaeology Museum, and walk in Alsancak.Overnight Izmir.

Nov 6 Mon Pergamum-Thyatira-Smyrna Agora

Leave for Pergamon. Visit the Acropolis with the steepest theater of the ancient world and the

Temple of Trajan. Then visit the Red Basilica which was an Egyptian Temple, later converted to a

church. Drive to Akhisar town to visit the remaining of the Thyatira Church. Then, continue to Izmir to

see the Smyrna Agora and its latest excavations. We will also visit the graffiti section which is closed

to public. Overnight Izmir.

Nov 7 Tue Sardis-Philadelphia-Hierapolis

Drive to Sardis, capital of the ancient Lydia where first coin of the world was invented. See the

remains of the massive Artemis Temple. Continue to Philadelphia, World Heritage site and site of the

church mentioned in Colossians 4. Afternoon tour of Hierapolis. See the Philip’s Tomb. Overnight

Pamukkale.

Nov 8 Wed Laodicea-Ephesus-Izmir

Drive to nearby Laodicea to see the latest excavations. Continue to the famous ancient city of

Ephesus, Basilica of John, the Ephesus Archaeological Museum. Dinner and overnight Izmir.

Nov 9 Thu 11:30 Transfer to Izmir Airport for PC3166 14:30 flight to Kyiv via Ankara.
