CELEBRATING THE LORD’S SUPPER Do you believe that you receive the TRUE/REAL BODY & BLOOD of Christ in, with, and under the bread and wine for the full pardon of sins? This is what the Lutheran Church believes. COMMUNION PRACTICE: The Biblical foundation for our practice may be found in Matt. 26:26-28, Mark 14:22-24, Luke 22:19-20, 1 Cor. 11:23-30. Christ has given Holy Communion as a spiritual blessing to His Church. In order to be responsible in sharing God’s gift of Christ and His forgiveness in the Sacrament, our practice is to commune individuals who are baptized and instructed in the Christian faith, normally in the fellowship of a sister Lutheran congregation, and share unity in what we believe, teach, and practice about the Lord’s Supper. If you have answered “no” or don’t know the answer to this question, we respectfully ask that you await discussion with the Pastor before receiving Holy Communion for the first time. Thank you for your consideration. If you are not communing, but would like a blessing, please come forward and just fold your hands.

Opportunities

THE LWML LADIES ARE SMILING! GOD IS SMILING!

Thanks to all of you for supporting the LWML bake sale.  We earned $3,345.00! That represents a 35% increase over last year, which had been our biggest yet. None of it would happen

without all of you being so generous. BLESS ALL OF YOU AND THANK YOU!!

Please join us at St. Paul's Church, 1628 Rosa Parks Blvd., Nashville on Sunday, March 1st, 3:00 - 5:30.  for an

Inspiritus open house.

CEO John Moeller and Regional Director Janet Arning will be sharing the vision and future of Inspiritus Nashville. Meet LeeAnn Love, MyCanvas co-founder, and lead Art

Therapist. Tour the property, hear the stories of participants and volunteers, and see how Inspiritus changes

lives! Refreshments will be served.   Your own LWML ladies will be there to encourage other

congregations to become as active as we have been in ministering to Inspiritus, both in the Christmas Angel Tree outreach, and the monthly luncheons served to the ladies

who gather for the Building Families workshops.

If you have any questions, please speak with Jan Perkinson, Holly Walsh, Sandra Gean, Deb Crigger or Lee Compton.

10:45 COFFEE HOUR HOSTS NEEDED

There is a sign-up sheet on the left side bulletin board leading into the Multipurpose Room for those who are willing to plate goodies and serve these for the 10:45 am coffee hour after the

service. Please sign up for 2 Sundays in this calendar year.

If we do not have a hostess signed up for a Sunday, we will try but may not be able to have refreshments for the fellowship time after the service. Your willingness to serve in this important fellowship ministry will be much appreciated. Thank you!
