Hey Sand Springers, this Sunday is when we leave for Branson. Remember come to early church and Sunday School. Then go home, get a bite to eat and bring your luggage back so we can load the bus and leave the lot at 12:30. Check your itinerary for times and such. I made a little goof on Julies phone #, it should be 502-680-0142 if you’ve loaded it in your phone change it now and if you’ve left it with some of your family in case of emergency, call and let them know. My plan right now is to be home Thursday afternoon by 6:00 PM. Church, I’m asking you to pray for us as

we travel, and for our family here at home while we’re gone. Thank you and Blessings, Ellery

The last two summers I have had the amazing privilege to carry out James 1:27 by serving the people of San Pedro Sula, Honduras. I’m excited to announce that on July 27th, I will be returning to Hogar Esperenza to train and prepare for next summers international mission trip. I can’t express the joy that I feel to have 10 students who have already expressed an interest in going and serving overseas in the summer of 2017. One of my goals while I’m in Honduras is to individually pray for every person that already feels their heart be tugged to GO. That being said, if you are remotely interested in going to Honduras, I would love for you to contact me so that I can add you to my prayer list. I’m also looking for at least 25 people to commit to pray for me each day I’m gone. If you are interested in joining my prayer team please contact me. I’m excited to see what God has in store as students seek to be obedient and fulfill their God given purpose.

On July 19th we will be taking a trip to Kings Island. We will meet at the church at 7:15 a.m. and will arrive home around 9:30 that evening. The cost is $35. You will need to bring money for lunch and dinner in the park. Sign ups are in the youth room and payments are due on Wednesday, July 13th.

It’s only 2 more weeks before we head to Crossings summer camp. I’m pumped to see how God is going to move in the lives of our students as they spend a week in fellowship, worship, and Bible study! Final payments for Crossings are due Sunday July 10th. Upcoming Important Dates July 10th – Final Payments due for Crossings Summer Camp July 19th – Kings Island July 21st-26th – Crossings Summer Camp July 27th-Aug. 1st – Honduras Mission trip If you have any questions about these dates or would like more information please email me at [email protected]. Have a blessed week! Austin

More Toxic Emotions

After a brief interruption by my 20th Anniversary and Independence Day, I’m going to finish up my sermon series on Toxic Emotions. There are still at least 3 toxic emotions I plan to cover in the next few weeks – loneliness, bitterness, and fear.

New Sunday Night Series

This Sunday night we will kick off a new series of sermons from Hebrews 11 entitled “God’s Hall of Fame.” We will study the lives of several Bible characters who are commended for their faith in God.

Your Pastor, Mike
