MS Europalink, MS Finnpartner / MS Finntrader operates on our Malmö-Travemünde route.

MS Europalink, the larger of the three accommodates takes up to 554 passengers on board and approximately 4 kilometers of cargo, lane meters. Cargo includes, for example, passengers vehicles, horse transports, trucks and trailers. MS Finnpartner / MS Finntader accommodates 270 passengers and 2,7 kilometers of cargo. Our Sailor’s Shop is definitely worth visiting during your trip - so come and explore our wide product range and super shop offers. Also keep an eye out for our fantastic Star Club offers for members only.

In our buffet restaurant you can have a rich and tasty meal while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea.

ValuablesFinnlines is not responsible for any valuables left in the cabins or public areas.

Car DeckFor your safety, access to the car deck is restricted during the voyage. Passengers must always follow the instructions given by the crew on the car deck. The vehicle’s handbrake must be switched on for the entire trip.

Safety informationImportant information about safety is on the TV channel 1. Check out the safety instructions which can be found in the public areas and on the cabin door.

First aidIn case of illness, please contact the crew onboard. The ship does not have its own doctor or medicine cabinet, but there are always crew members on board with extensive first aid training. In case of emergency, use the telephones located close to the reception desk.

Good to know

SmokingSmoking and the use of e-cigarettes in the ship’s common areas is forbidden. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is permitted only on outer decks in a designated area marked with a Smoking sign.Smoking in the cabins always leads to a fine.

PetsWe welcome pets onboard. Only guide and assistance dogs may be taken to the indoor public areas. In all cases, the owner is responsible for the pet they are traveling with. There is a small area on deck 4 on MS Finnpartner and MS Finnpartner and on deck 7 on MS Europalink, where pets can be taken outside. All pets should be kept on leash when outside the cabin. Pets are not allowed to be left in the car for the duration of the voyage. Please take care of your pet in such a way that it does not disturb your fellow passen-gers. Please note that pet food is not sold on board.

Turning Torso

Öresundsbron

Between Malmö and Copenhagen you will find Öresunsbron, a bridge connection between Sweden and Denmark. The bridge was built during 1995 to 2000. It opened for traffic on july 1st 2000. The connection is 15,9 km long whereof 7,8 km is a bridge connecting Malmö and 4,1 km is a tunnel connecting Copenhagen. For the transition from bridge to tunnel there had to be bulit an island on sea, Pepparholm was bulit. Pepparholm is 4 km long. The bridge has a sail-free height of 57 m.

Take a picture when passing under the bridge. Don´t forget to give your loved one a kiss, it gives you luck!

Öresundsbron is located 45 min away from the harbour in Malmö towards Travemünde.

Enjoy the beautiful view and lights of Turning Torso during evening time and it´s beautiful architecure during daytime. Turning Torso is located by the sea in Västra Hamnen, Malmö.Turning Torso was designed and constructed by Santiago Calatrava. The building is a residential and Sweden and Northern Europes highest building with 190,4 m.Santiago Calatrava is a spanish architect, building designer and sculptor from Valencia, Spain. He has designed several big constructions such as bridges, railway stations, stadiums and museums. His sculptral forms often resemble living organisms.

Passat

Old Lighthouse Travemünde

When entering the river Trave you will find Germanies oldest lighthouse Alter Leuchtturm Travemünde on your right side. The lighthouse was construated in 1539. Due to a fire the lighthouse got a reconstruation in 1827. After 433 years the lights of the lighthouse was shot down.Since 1922 the old lighthouse is a technical culture memory and since 2004 a museum.

Alter Leuchtturm and the new lighthouse is situated on top of the Maritim hotel and it´s said to be the highest lighthouse of the Baltic Sea.

The lighthouse is located just 15-20 minutes away from reaching the harbour in Travemünde.

Passat began her maiden voyage in 1911 and she is one of the last surviving windjammers. The retired sailing vessel Passat is a four-masted barque, a Flying-P-Liner. Now she is the maritime symbol of Travemünde. She is located to your left when enteringthe Trave river. During summer there is an interesting exhibition where you are able to visit her and see how she carried goods half-way around the world.

Passat is located only 5-10 minutes away from reaching the harbour in Travemünde.
