Immigration, Citizenship, and College SeminarWhen: Tuesday, December 1 at 6:30 p.m. Where: Baytown Community CenterGCCISD Board of Trustees President, Agustin Loredo, will address the affects of immigration on college access. Transportation will be provided to and from the Baytown Community Center at Ashbel Smith, Bowie, Carver, and Lamar elementary schools at 5:30 p.m. A light dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with the seminar following.
GCCISD Annual College NightWhen: Wednesday, December 2 at 6:30 p.m.Where: Goose Creek Memorial High SchoolHave one-on-one conversations with colleges, universities, military organizations, and other college access programs. Presentations will address college admission, financial aid, and dual enrollment. A special presentation at 6 p.m. will give you key questions to ask college representatives at the college fair.
College Cost Estimator When: Thursday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m.Where: Ross S. Sterling High SchoolDave Murray, President of the National Center for College Costs, will answer your questions: How do you find the right fit in a college? How do you pay for it? Each family will receive a college cost estimator that will personalize financial planning for your student’s college education.
