MISSION INGATHERING OFFERING?

Instead of collecting multiple offerings throughout the year,

2nd Baptist encourages our families to give during the Annual

Missions Ingathering, the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

That offering is then divided among the organizations

we support locally and globally.

Together, we can make an impact on the Kingdom!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Contact Alisa Fleming about volunteering during the

Drop off Center Hours of Operation for 2nd Baptist.

Help is still needed Monday - November 20 - 8am-3pm.

ANGEL TREE CHRISTMAS PARTY 2nd Baptist Family Life Center

Saturday, December 9 from 3-5pm

Angel Tree provides gifts to children with one or both parents

incarcerated. The children and their families/guardians will hear a

Gospel presentation during the party.

Curt Dalziel is helping lead this opportunity, but volunteers are

needed to help set-up and breakdown and/or

lead games/activities with the kids.

Sunday School classes are invited to purchase gifts for 15 of the more

than 100 children in Rutherford County. Curt will visit the

adult Sunday School groups on Sunday, November 26, 2017, to

provide specific information on children such as gifts for boy or girl,

size of clothing, action figures, etc.

Gift price range is from $15 to $20 per gift.
