All courses (excluding Korean Language) are taught in English

and each course is given 3 credits (45 lecture hours).

* Korean Culture Workshop (mandatory course, 1 credit): Every Wednesday

- Summer school class time is divided into three (A: 09:00~11:30 / B: 12:15~14:45 / C: 15:00~17:30).

- Students can choose a minimum of one course and a maximum of three courses excluding KCW.

Korean Culture Workshop

KCW is offered on every Wednesday, and is one of the most popular programs among

AISS participants. It is designed to help international students enhance their

understanding of Korean culture and tradition through practices in the morning and site

visits in the afternoon.

Week 1: Taekwondo Practice

& Visit to Hwaseong Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage)

Week 2: Mud Festival (Korean local festival)

Week 3: Visit to Hyundai Automobile & Korean Folk Village

Week 4: Samulnori Practice (Musical Instruments)

Watching ‘Nanta’ (No. 1 performance in Korea)
