and division problems. Number and Operations in Base Ten Use place value understanding to perform multi-digit
problems. Numbers and Operations Fractions Develop an understanding of fractions as numbers Measurement and Data Measure time, liquid volumes, and masses of objects.
Understand concepts of area and perimeter. Geometry Reason with shapes and their attributes.

Small Group Instruction Fluid groups, sometimes skill based,
sometimes reading level based Students leave each guided reading
session with an assignment to complete before the next meeting.

Making Words
Words Their Way Differentiated Word Groups based on
preassessment. Weekly mandatory activities and choice activities
Common Assessment 2-3 times a Quarter and counts twice

Classroom Assessments 4-7 Throughout a Quarter
