Invent2. Choosing an idea

a. NOW you can find flaws in your ideasb. Group by different principles (by funding, by feasibility, by

mechanism of action, etc) to see patternsc. Create an feasibility matrix

i. Create columns with every design requirement

ii. Make a single row and assign values of importance to each design requirement

(e.g. 1 - must achieve, 5 - nice to have)

iii. Add rows for every possible solution and assign values of feasibility (e.g. 1 - easy,

e.g. 5 - I’m not sure that’s possible)

iv. See how the solutions compare to the that top row of importance

Implement & Refine1. Break into modules2. Prototype3. Keep designs as simple as possible4. Gather feedback in every way possible5. Embrace failure and imperfection

a. Don’t get hung up on making everything perfect. You can perfect it in the next iteration. A demonstrably working product is better than a nonexistent perfect product.
