Key value for our program is Community. I moved from the big city of Vancouver to CR about 10 years ago and love the community that you find in small city. What does that mean for a student? Easy to see friends around town I go grocery shopping and run into Host Parents who generally rave about their students. Word Travels fast and we all know each other. (Students are well cared for in a small community) My academic Advisor goes to the eye doctor one afternoon and sees one of her students skipping class – his first and likely his last time. He was horrified to have been caught in the act.
