Smoking is not allowed. State law requires use of the crosswalk when crossing Shaker Road. Video photography is not allowed on the Village grounds. Flash photography and tripods are not allowed inside any of the historic buildings. Hand-held, still photography is allowed in the Village except in the Carriage House Exhibit Center. Cell phones must be silenced during tours. ACCESSIBILITY Wheelchair accessible buildings are marked on the map. The Canterbury Shaker Village educational video is available for viewing at the Visitors’ Center.
