• There will be 3 tests this trimester– Basics– Atomic Theory and Periodic Table– Naming

Labs

• Lab groups will be educator selected.• Keep your own notes during labs• Submit lab report to educator electronically

Homework

• All assignments are worth 1 point!• You are expected to attempt all

work and learn from your mistakes.

• I will be looking for your reflections on each assignment.

Notebook

• Need to have a notebook by TOMORROW!!!• All notes (class notes and lab notes) must be

kept.• SPIRAL notebooks are the BEST!• Should be an easy 10%

Quizzes• Most quizzes will be over the elements. • Learn ~ 10 elements per week• 5 quizzes• Know symbol of each elementand location• Week 1:–H, Li, Na, K–Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba
