This presentation is about…other aspects whichmake our school special.
by Vice chair of Chevening School Council.
Year 6 make things for their ‘buddies’ such as Top Trumps and reading books.
They play with them at playtime, read to them and sometimes do presentations, talks and lessons.
We think the Eco and School Council aspects
of our school help to make it
special but there are other
things too.
These slides show a few of these things…
Some of Year 5 visit the Nursery at playtimes so that they can help and make friends with the
children before they start in Reception.
The wall of achievement shows our talents.
We like special weeks like Creativity Week.
We have special performances such as our Opera by Class 1 and Class 6.
We enjoy ICT. The Interactive whiteboards help us learn and we make websites to help others.
Our ICT room has work on display and information about being safe.
We made this Oral story board using textiles in one of the special weeks.
Year 1 and Year R have outdoor areas to work in.
Year R have their own play area.
Year R have games like target walls and building materials near to our swimming
pool.
We are lucky to have an outdoor swimming pool which we use in the Summer.
We got lots of PE equipment by collecting vouchers.
The younger pupils have markings on their playground.
We have boards to give information about clubs and sports.
