As Principal of Alfred I. duPont Middle School, I want to take this opportunity to share my excitement as we prepare for the 2018-2019 school year. I want to thank the entire Dragon Nation for their commitment to excellence as we continue to establish ourselves as one of the prem-ier middle schools in Duval County, one with a rich tradition of high academic standards. Our overall Math scores increased by 8%, Science 4%, Literacy 1%, Civics 36%, and Acceleration (Algebra & Biology) increased 11%! I feel confident that our students will continue their award winning performance this year in our quest to become an “A” school!

This year our “stars” will continue to have access to a variety of electives including, Spanish, French, Chinese, Global Scholars, Music, and Art. duPont will continue to provide accelerated courses in Algebra I, Geometry, Biology I, and Pre-Early College.
