Dear Parishioners,

Thanks to everyone who in any way helped to make our churches and our liturgies so beautiful for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! May you be blessed for all you do!

This Sunday between Christmas and New Year’s is always dedicated to the Holy Family. So happy Feast Day to our New Brighton friends. These days are certainly all about family. Hopefully, that means happy, joyous times together but for many folks, that is not the case. But wherever our family may be on the happy-healthy spectrum, the Holy Family has a message for us, a message of God’s providen-tial love and care. God’s love and forgiveness is, of course, the example and pattern of our relationships with one an-other. We have another Holy Day this week: Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God on January 1, 2020. The Mass Schedule is:

Tuesday, Vigil, December 31 4:00PMSt. Cecilia 5:00PM Holy Family 6:00PM St. Felix Wednesday, January 1 7:30AMSaints Peter and Paul 10:00AMSaints Peter and Paul Our celebration of Christmas continues. Don’t stop celebrat-ing. I saw a sign on one of our church bulletin boards that said “We are all Innkeepers who must decide if we have room for Jesus.” May all the love and the sights and sounds and tastes of Christmas help us to open our hearts to the nearness of our God.

Meanwhile…the Magi are traveling to Bethlehem for their encounter with the Christ Child. We are, too!

God Bless, Fr. Bob
