Program Admission Requirements● 3.0 GPA, must be maintained during the program

○ Temporary “slips” are acceptable

● Transfer students can apply after one semester in their co-op

college

● Applications are reviewed at the end of each semester

● Freshmen must wait until their second semester to apply

Keep in Mind...● Jobs overseas are not guaranteed.

● Program is heavily subsidized by UC, but there are costs . . .

○ Loss of co-op earnings for 6-week intensive language course

○ 3 cr hrs tuition for intensive language course (also subsidized)

○ Airline ticket(s) -- Some companies provide tickets, some don’t

○ Salaries overseas as less than in the US, but all jobs are paid

○ Possible scholarships!

● Housing varies by country and company

ICP RoadMap● Intro to ICP Course (choose one)

○ Orientation to International Co-Op (PD 1081) (fall semester only)

○ Exploring Culture, Life and Work Abroad (PD 2010) (spring semester)

● ICP elective of your choice

● 6-week summer intensive language course

○ = 2 years of college language instruction
