Join us for Fall Family Fun Night! Our second annual Fall Family Fun Night will take place from 6 to 7:30 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 27, taking the place of regular Wednesday Night Supper, Bible Study, Youth and AWANA programs. This event is for everyone! The United Methodist Men will serve dinner (hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, cookies and drinks). To ensure we have enough food and activities for everyone, please register at mylhumc.net/FFFN-2021. You can also find info there on ways to get involved, such as by hosting a Trunk or Treat trunk!
Starting Point Starts Again, Today! The Starting Point series at Lynn Haven United Methodist Church is a conversational small group environment to help both new and existing members be better informed about the mission and operation of our church and ways to plug in. The first class in the series (Orientation) will take place in the Community Room immediately after the 10 am worship service today. Lunch is available for those who have pre-registered to attend, but drop-ins are welcome! To sign up for future classes, please visit mylhumc.net/starting-point.
Affordable counseling is available on Mondays at Lynn Haven UMC: Shepherd’s Staff Counseling at Lynn Haven UMC seeks to help anyone in need of a compassionate counselor to help navigate the difficulties of life. Dr. Ken Taylor, a retired United Methodist minister, is available most Mondays by appointment. Counseling with Dr. Taylor is for anyone, regardless of ability to pay. Payment of what you can afford is voluntary. For more information, please call Dr. Taylor at 850-428-0136.
Mobile Food Pantry is Nov. 6: Feeding the Gulf Coast will again partner with us to provide food to anyone in need on Saturday, November 6 from 9 to 11 am. Many hands are needed to unload the food and organize it into household-sized boxes, beginning at 6:30 am. Older children (with a parent/guardian) and students are encouraged to participate!
