What you have to do todayPrepare!•Skim/scan your pack so you know what’s in it.•Make sure everyone in your group understands what the group is trying to do.•Look at the important questions in your pack. You need to find out more about each of these questions.Share out the work:
•Every person in your group needs to make themselves an expert on ONE of these important questions. •Decide who will research each question. (Decide who does what part of the jigsaw.)•Agree when you will meet up to put together the jigsaw and see how you are getting on.
Preparing your presentation will be a bit like doing a jigsaw. Everyone has a part to play. Each person will become an expert on your own question (your own part of the jigsaw). The group presentation puts all the jigsaw pieces together.
Do the work!
•Every person needs to become an expert on ONE important question. (That’s your own part of the jigsaw.)
•You can research your question by using the pack and also by using your shared i-pad. •What information will persuade the others in the class to hold your point of view?
You might want to work alone or in pairs but you must be able to answer each of the four questions between you.
