Scientists have said that in theory a bumblebee should not be able to fly.
Can you provide any explanation to this?
The solution based on Science is different than that of the urban legend.
According to urban legend the answer is simple….
Lesson for you:
You can “Bee” You can “Bee” Successful too.Successful too.
This means to be in your assigned seat and beginning the starting activity that is on the screen.
This means to bring all needed materials to class.
This means to respect yourself and others. Raise your hand and wait for permission to speak.
Follow all safety rules
Complete all assignments on time
Follow Hampton Cove and Huntsville City Rules

2nd Infraction: Phone Call to Parent
3rd Infraction: 30 min. After-School Detention
4th Infraction: Office Referral
Severity Clause
If a severe disruption should occur, the student will be sent immediately to the office.
Positive notes, positive phone calls, candy
Class reward:
When the class has a day that no infractions are given to any students, the class receives a sticker on their beehive. When the class fills up the beehive they will be allowed to choose from several things as a reward. (Music time, Gum Lab, Popcorn lab)
Your grade will be determined from a variety of activities:
Daily Assignments, Labs/Experiments, Homework,
Tests.
A “point system” is used in this class. Some assignments are given a higher point value. All assignments will have a grade on it that shows how many points the student earned out of the number of points possible. Therefore, successful completion of this course requires completion of all assignments that are given. Each student can determine his/her letter grade at any time by determining the percent earned. (Number of total points earned divided by total of possible points).
ASSIGNMENT POLICY: Assignments are to be turned in at the beginning of the period on the date which they are due. If turned in on time, a maximum of 100% can be earned. However, if the assignment is late (1 or more days), no points will be given but the instructor will correct it and note in the grade book (with a check mark) that the assignment was completed. Assignments SHOULD be turned in even if they are late, because it is proof to the instructor that the student is capable of completing 8th grade level work.
If, for whatever reason, a student is absent from class, it is the student’s responsibility to find out what was missed, and begin the make-up work IMMEDIATELY upon returning to school. Make-up work is due two-week period as determined by Huntsville City Schools’ Policies.
Test will be taken on the day of return
When you arrive, you will do the following steps:
1. Locate your assigned seat and place your books under your desk.
2. Write down the assignment in your pass book.
3. Begin your “Bell Ringer” in your composition book.
