Munn BPT Goal 1: All students, staff and community will have a genuine sense of belonging at Munn Elementary School.
•The goal continues to be supported by our work with Rachel’s Challenge and Peaceful Buses. Together these initiatives create a culture of kindness and compassion and directly address the root problems of isolation, prejudice and bullying.

• Fall 2010 we as a building re-committed ourselves to Rachel’s Challenge, continuing to build a positive learning environment based on the themes of kindness, compassion and added acceptance.• All Munn students and staff signed the ACCEPTANCE banner•SOAR assemblies devoted to celebrating students and staff modeling our themes• Staff sending students postcards to model/recognize kindness, compassion and acceptance.

•All -K-5 classrooms are equipped with a SMARTBoard that are utilized throughout the day.
•All Munn teachers have received Instructional Whiteboard professional development training. • All Munn students receive a minimum of 45 minutes per week of technology instruction that supports Spencerport’s K-5 Technology Skills connected to the classroom curriculum.
• Building level professional development and release time is focused on further use and implementation of IT throughout daily instruction.
