OMRAN went to school for a total of 19 years including pri-mary and lower secondary school. After finishing high school he moved to USA and four years later he moved back to Den-mark. He has studied to become a teacher and he has also studied data mathematics. Currently, OMRAN is working as a teacher in a public school, which was also his career goal. His
former jobs include working as a model, receptionist, super-market clerk and as a web designer. OMRAN has carried out voluntary work giving food for homeless people including other projects as well.His native language is Danish and he does also speak English and German. He has not served in the military.

Describe your strong sides: High set of analytic skills, efficient, trustworthy, good commu-nication skills, perfectionist.
Describe your weak sides: Perfectionist (it can be a curse as well as a blessing). Some-times I overanalyze things and speak when I should listen in-stead. Housecleaning.
What is your marital status?Married.
Do you have any children? Yes. My son is currently five years old. He is blond like I was at that age, and he is medium build. From older people in my family, I am told that he looks like a spitting image of me, when I was that age. Pictures confirm this. He has extremely high mathematic and language skills for his age. He doesn’t like to practice sports like the others in his kindergarden. He is popular amongst other kids, but can also be very sensitive. He will do well in school.
Which types of sport do you play or have played? Soccer.
Which other types of sports are you interested in? None.
List any other hobbies you may have or have had:My family is my main hobby. Other than that making video-documentaries (usually historical topics for use in school), gardening and to debate various topics, like politics. And snorkel in coral reefs around the world.

Describe the best holiday you have had: When I was 7 years old, my father bought a used stationcar and decided to drive all the way from Denmark to his home country Iraq and back with me along. I have many great mem-ories from holidays I have had ever since - like my honey-moon - but this trip in 1977 means something very special to me. Being blond back then, I remember that everyone down there wanted to touch my hair, because they had never seen a blond person in real life.
What do you like the most about your own country:I feel very grateful that I have been born and raised in a coun-try where people are safe, where you can drink the water straight from the tap and where no one needs to suffer and go to bed hungry like in many other countries on earth. We have a unique system, which has been rightfully praised globally: high taxes but free healthcare and education.

Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? My loving and caring parents, when alive, were my main idols because they played a key role in contributing to who I am. Other than that people who willingly die and/or sacrifice them-selves so others can live or achieve freedom from oppression.
What are your goals in life? First and foremost to become the best father for my son that I can be. Other than that: to write novels based on real life events. And to travel more. Maybe become a politician and run for office.
What were your childhood dreams:To own a house, which I do now. And to drive trains, which I luckily don’t do now.
Which values do you rank the highest?Integrity, honesty and loyalty. That a person can be trusted and is openminded and tolerant towards other people.
Which childhood experience made the biggest impres-sion on you? When my parents got divorced when I was 14.
Which was your greatest experience or moment? My wedding.
Happiest: When my son was born.
Funniest: Many moments. Like hosting a theme-based party at work or visiting the pyramids in Egypt with my wife.
Scariest: When my sister called me while I was at work to tell me that my mother have been found dead in her bathroom.
Proudest: At a parent-teacher meeting at my son’s kindergar-den where I was told that they think he has skills beyond his age in math and vocabulary.
Most dangerous: Freediving and losing my breath. I was al-most drowning.
Greatest sorrow: Losing both my parents and my dog during a 10 month period.
