AR Reading• Students have been assigned AR books on their

individual reading level. This level was based on

the results of the STAR Test given at the beginning of

the year.

• 30 daily minutes required:

15 minutes at school and 15 minutes at home.

• Required to quiz two times a week: Tuesday and

Thursday

• Read Fiction two times or read Non-fiction three times

• Read independently and with someone at home

• Send books to school daily

individual needs

Behavior Management

Students are required to follow classroom and

school rulesas outlined in the hand book. Choosing not to

follow the ruleswill have consequences.

*First Prompting = verbal warning*Second Prompting = flip “PAW” green card to second

green card*Third Prompting = flip second green card to yellow

card and complete “Think Sheet” at home with an adult*Fourth Prompting = flip yellow card to red card and complete “Think Sheet” at home with an adult. Parent notification through phone call or note in agenda.

For each flip a student receives through inappropriate behavior, he/she must walk to a

designated spot on the playground at the beginning of recess.
