Buddies • All children in YR will be assigned a buddy from Year 6. Their buddy will look after

and play with them during lunchtimes and some whole school activities.

Stay & Play • Every half term and plenty of notice given. Each one has a different focus and style.

All parents and carers with children in the EYFS welcome.

Snack Bar • A parental donation of about £6 per term allows us to offer the children rolling snack

which has proved to be invaluable as a platform for language, communication, co-operation and minding our P’s & Q’s!

Uniform for Reception Class School uniform requirements for Reception Class for Autumn and Spring Terms. School jumper or school cardigan (with school logo) Light blue polo style T-shirt Either plain navy jogging bottoms or plain navy leggings (no ‘brand’ logos) Plain white, grey or navy socks Plain black leather shoes or trainers (fully black, no different coloured logos) – velcro fastening if possible In addition, children will need a school PE kit and a pair of wellies. The change in uniform was the result of a request by the Reception Team to the Governing Body. We believe that these uniform arrangements more effectively support the nature of learning activities that Reception children undertake on a daily basis.

“I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
