RCIA Classes at St. Michael Church-Lincoln Sunday morning class from 10:45 am til noon. Friday morning class from 9:30-11:00 am. A “Taste and See” informational meeting where po-tential participants can gather additional information and ask questions about RCIA will be held Sunday, September 10th at 10:45 am at St. Michael rectory at 7501 Yankee Woods Dr. All are invited.

Altar Society Meeting—Wednesday, September 6 at 6:30 pm in the rectory dining room. All ladies of the parish are invited.

Holy Name Men’s Meeting Sunday, September 10th after the 7:30 am Mass. All men of the parish over the age of 18 are invited to join. The meeting will be in the rectory basement.

Catholic Coffee House is an adult faith formation series held at Gianna’s Java and Gelato, 24th & O streets. This year’s presentation will be on the Catholic Perspective on the Reformation. The first presentation will be Sun-day, September 10, 7:00-8:30 pm. Msgr. Timothy Thorburn will speak on the “Historical Perspective: Viewing the Reformation through the Lens of Medie-val Culture, Religion, and Politics.” Each session includes Q & A and an opportunity to purchase some great refreshments! The First Discernment Retreat Fiat Ministries is devoted to encouraging young women to answer “yes” to the vocation to which God is calling them. This Retreat is an opportunity for young women to ask questions, pray, listen, and open their hearts to the Lord’s will. Throughout this weekend of discernment, participants will receive wisdom through prayer, presentations by religious sisters, recreation, and fellowship. Single women, age 17-26 who are seeking to do God’s will, are in-vited to attend the upcoming Fiat Discernment Re-treat on September 29-October 1, at the Camp Ka-teri Tekakwitha in McCool Junction, Nebraska. Carmelite Walk to the Carmelite Monastery in Val-paraiso Saturday, September 9. Meet at the Carmel before 8:30 am. A shuttle will take you to the start of the walk. Mass at 11:00 am at the Carmel.

School Notes There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday due to Labor Day. There are some spaces available in our pre-school program.
