About The Founder Dr. Malik Zulu Shabazz is an American

attorney and former National Chairman of the New Black Panther Party. As of 2013, he is the current National President of Black Lawyers for Justice. Dr. Shabazz now has spearheaded and is the founder of Shabazz.University Online.

What Do We Do? Our goal is to re-structure the

educational approach for Afrikan people With this new approach it is mandatory to understand that the mission of our education should be to educate the whole person. A holistic approach to education is inclusive of addressing our political, economic, cultural, and spiritual needs.

Mother Amunet Auset, MS.Ed

Mother Amunet is an educator, ordained minister, certified educational counselor, singer songwriter and activist with a BA in Psychology and a MS.Ed Counseling. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Psychological Counseling.

A Bronx New York native, Mother Amunet Auset has worked in the public school system of Georgia, was trained as an intern in Counseling, Academic Advising and teaching at John Jay College, received her Masters Degree from Fordham University in NYC. She is a certified educator and Guidance Counselor in the state of Florida and Georgia.

Mother Amunet Auset has been an activist and participated in many community events, marches and demonstrations since the late 1990’s along with Dr. Shabazz in NYC. She was interviewed on CBS news during the Sean Bell, Shopping For Justice March in NYC (see clip below or click here) and has always been an advocate against police brutality and injustice in the Black and undeserved communities of the United States of America.
