On your first day the majority of your equipment will be prepared:

Getting started Your CF A buddy
The CF A Buddy Program is intended to facilitate the smooth entry of new team members to the audit department.
The buddy is an experienced peer who coaches the new employee during the orientation period (first six months).
She/he provides introduction to CF A methodology, tools, guidelines, etc. and is the first contact partner for audit related
questions.
Responsibilities vary by individuals, but can cover anything from learning technical audit skills to navigating new
administrative policies.
Ideally the audit buddy gives intensive guidance in at least one audit assignment together with the new hire.

Secure communication is crucial for audit work. The Siemens company ID card provides
various capabilities for secure communication by use digital certificates for the Siemens
Private Key Infrastructure (PKI), such as:
▪ E-mail encryption
▪ Digital signatures
▪ Access authorization for IT systems and networks
(the domain login)
▪ Applications requiring strong authentication, such as
HR applications (PKI-Login)
▪ CF A VPN

Getting startedEfficient collaboration and communication with Circuit
Siemens Real Time Collaboration Service (Circuit) based on a Unify Product is the
mandatory standard at Siemens for Instant Messaging, PC/Mobile based audio / video
conferencing (VoIP) and data / application / desktop sharing. Both components of the
RTC, namely the Circuit Desktop App and Outlook Integration are already pre-installed
on your laptop and mobile. All you need is a headset for voice /audio and a webcam for
video.
Make use of the Circuit services where ever you can as this secure and low cost
way of audio, video and web conferences helps us to avoid travel, saving time and
money.
Please ask your buddy to familiarize you with the functionality of the Circuit service. In
case of any technical questions your local IT support will give you a helping hand.

Data secrecy according to the German Federal Data Protection Act Under § 5 BDSG you are not allowed (without authorization) to collect, process or use protected, personal data which officially becomes known to you.
