Dear Parish Families,
Pope Francis, in a recent Advent address, said:
“Dear brothers and sisters, It is the Lord’s invitation expressed by the words of the prophet Isaiah: “Comfort, give comfort to my people, says your God.” (Isaiah 40,1). With these words, the Book of consolation is opened, in which the prophet addresses to the people in exile the joyful announcement of liberation. The time of tribulation is ended; the people of Israel can look towards the future with confidence: the return home finally awaits them.”
As Christians, we too can look forward to the Incarna-
tion of God made Man, in which the light is returned
to our world and we are offered hope. Hope that never
again will God be distant from us. That God knows
each one of us by name.
On behalf of the Parish Staff and myself, we want to
wish you a Blessed Christmas and a Joyful New Year!
