ART FEAST VENUES

Art Feast 2012 bursts into life with a colourful, exciting, community celebration at a magically transformed northern Dauncey Street, Kingscote. The festive atmosphere begins at 6pm. Wander through the hub enjoying local food and wine, stalls, samples from Art Feast venues and roaming street performers. Island school children lead a multi-cultural parade with large scale artworks to herald the festivities; surrounding buildings light up with digitally projected images, tweets and Neill Bell’s Gastronomie, to the sounds of an original score by local artist Les Montanjees. The evening has fire twirlers, KI Players, dancers, random acts of entertainment, yarn bombing, interactive fluoro art and musical offerings. The night also sees the launch of The Islander’s KI Food Wine and Art Guide and unveiling of Deb Sleeman’s 175th commemorative art sculpture.

Our Friends support Art Feast and get the benefits shown in this program and much more. Visit www.kangarooislandartfeast.org.au for more information and a membership form.
