Academic dual credit courses are accepted by public colleges and universities and most private & out-of-state institutions to which Navarro students transfer as part of their core curriculum.

9th & 10th GRADE REQUIREMENTS
Student must demonstrate outstanding academic performance and capabilities.
Must pass the Reading & Writing equivalent of a State Approved College Placement Exam. (TSI Complete in Reading & Writing)
Maintain 85 average overall in high school classes. Demonstrate continuous success in dual credit courses. Students are limited to two courses per semester. Must have both Counselor’s and Principal’s approvals
of academic performance. Must meet all the college’s regular prerequisite
requirements designated for the courses in which enrolling.
11th & 12th GRADE REQUIREMENTS
• Must have good academic standing.
• Must have HS Counselor’s approval for all courses enrolling.
Enrollment Limitations: • No more than two courses per semester
• Outstanding academic students may seek special approvals to take more than 2 courses, but not to exceed 15 semester hours.
• Must have counselor, principal, and college approvals prior to enrolling.
