Welcome to the Clevedon Baptist Church Week of Prayer! Our Prayer Weeks give us the opportunity to have a more intense and focused season of prayer. As you will see there are a range of prayer opportunities and it would be good if you could commit to one or more of them. There are also a range of prayer ideas and themes and a number of us are using the book '5 things to pray for your church' by Rachel Jones. Don't forget we also have our 7 point HARVEST prayer for 2017 and of course there is our regularly monthly prayer diary as well. May you know God's enabling through this week of prayer as we seek to pray in the Spirit together.

CBC Ministry Prayer Points – Please Pray:

Mission Partners: that as a Church we will grow in our understanding and passion for God's Church worldwide. That we will form a link with an Albanian Church through the contacts at WEBA and the Albanian Baptist Union. For Simon and Wendy Hall, currently in UK visiting Churches and sharing about their work in Nepal with KISC EQUIP. For Judy Cook as she continues to serve in Chiangmai, working with children at Hope Home. Restore: For those who come to Restore; that they might be helped to explore faith at the right time. Pastoral Care Teams: That we can call to mind all that God has already done for us in His mercy so that we may be able to trust Him more and draw near to Him. And as a team we will continue to be blessed with unity, that we will remember that God goes before us into each situation where we visit preparing the way. Youth: For the arrival of Pete Gardiner; that he would settle in well. For the youth weekend in March - that it may be a time of real growth in the young people's relationship with God, and for a growing sense of group identity. Thanksgiving that young people listen to the gospel at the Youth Club Connect slot each week. For improved consistency in numbers attending Youth Club. Children’s Work: Please thank God for the new children who have joined Fizz recently. For all Juice groups ie Crush, Zest, Drench, Fizz and Toddlers. For all the team leaders and members as they teach and spend time with the children and for the children's hearts to be open to God's word as it is faithfully taught each week. Families Ministry: For a good response to the new parenting course (for 0 - 11's) to be held at The Barn after Easter. Alpha: That all those on the current course will encounter Jesus in a real and life-changing way. Home Groups: That God will strengthen and encourage every group, and bless the impact of our all-together Lent series (The 8 Modes of Mission). Growing Leaders: For our wonderful cohort of Growing Leaders, that they will be enriched, equipped and empowered to serve God more faithfully and fruitfully as a result of the course. Finance Team: For John, the leaders and CBC as a whole as we set our budget for the coming year and as we prepare the annual report and accounts. SHED: That our discipleship challenge for this year will have a tangible impact both in terms of increasing our evangelistic temperature as a church, but also of seeing many conversions and baptisms in the months and years ahead Mosaic: That we would keep a missional focus. That we would make good connections and build relationships with people through our events in the Square. That as a church community we would develop deeper fellowship which is attractive and welcoming to those who don't know Jesus Care Home Services: For others to join the team as we are now going in to more homes and for an opportunity to go in to Coleridge Court on a regular basis.
