Ashley, from the moment Mema heard you play the recorder & saw how
well you can read music at such a young age she said to me our baby is
going to be a musician! I had no idea how talented you were but Mema did.
From the moment she put a trombone in your little hands, then onto a clarinet
she loved to listen to you play. You amaze me every day! I watch you on
that field performing & get goose bumps and when listening to you play it
brings tears of joy to me. We are so very proud of you Ashley you are a great
Section Leader & musician.
Reach for the stars baby girl the sky's the limit for you! Whatever you put your
mind to you can achieve so enjoy your senior year and get ready for the new
chapter of your life.
We love You! Mommy, Mema, Aunt Fran , Sam, Alyssa,
& all your fur babies.
JOSEPH MANSONET

Dear Participants and Friends,
Welcome back to the Festival of Marching at Edison High School, Home of the Marching Eagles, our
back to back US Bands State Champions! Thanks go out to the best Band Parents (www.ehsbands.org),
Mr. DeNicuolo, Mr. Kuntz, all the other staff and most of all to our new and returning Marching Eagles.
I am excited for “Heartbeat of Life” and the opening of the festival season.
I would be remiss not to thank Mr. Pispecky, guru of all that is artistic in Edison Township, Dr. O’Malley,
our superintendent, and the Edison Board of Education for continuing their strong support of music and
the arts at our school.
It is good to remember that Music and the Arts can often bridge gaps between people that cannot be
reached through Math, through Science or Social Studies. At Edison High we are expanding programs
and adding to one of the most decorated schools in New Jersey.
Good luck to all Band members. Here’s hoping you have great success this season and you enjoy the
fellowship a great band provides.
To our Eagles, you are “What’s Great About Edison High”.
Sincerely,
Charles K. Ross

Show Title: “Heartbeat of Life”
The Heartbeat of Life is a production that will take you on a journey through one man's
life from its outset. The show begins with the heartbeat of an unborn child. Throughout
the first movement follow the parents of this child and experience all of their feelings
about their child's milestone moments. In the second movement you will experience all
of the feelings of the child, now as an adult, and his milestone moments. The last
movement shows how difficult life can be as an adult and the heartache that it causes. All
of these feelings culminate to one extraordinary moment that will change the man's life
forever.

Welcome Marching Band Participants and Guests!
On behalf of the students, staff, Band Parents Organization members and
parents of the 2016 Eagles Marching Band we are pleased to host the
Annual Edison High School Festival of Marching.
This evening’s event will be filled with outstanding music and performances
by area High School Marching Bands.
A huge thank you to the amazing EHS music staff for an outstanding
program. Without your dedication to the program, our children would not
be able to explore their passion for music and to build lifelong skills to help
them achieve their goals in life. Leadership, commitment and teamwork are
just to name a few.
Tonight’s event would be impossible without that same dedication we
receive from our band parents. Our Band Parents are always willing to help
wherever and whenever needed.
Thank you Band Parent Volunteers for all that you do!
I truly appreciate All of You!
Friends, Family, Participants and Guests Please sit back and Enjoy the
Performances of these talented musicians.
