Street dancers put on a show!

The annual Dance Festival was held this March, with over 150 dancers and 300 spectators. This was a fantastic evening and opportunity for the young dancers to put on a show and demonstrate what they get up to at sessions. Myself and all the dance leaders were impressed with the dedication and hard work all the dancers put into the event.

World Cup Success!Back in Autumn 2013, some of the Street Dancers took part in a special opportunity to perform at the Rugby World Cup across four venues. Well Done to all Dancers and parents who took part.

Parent/volunteer committee

On 2nd July we held our first parent/volunteer committee. The purpose of the committee is to bring people from all the dance sessions together and discuss ways of bringing income, help and support to the dance sessions. If you would like to be part of the committee please email me and I will send details of the next meeting. There will be changes being made to Dance sessions in the near future so we would like parent/volunteer input on this. We are also looking for someone to help parents and youngsters develop their costume making skills for the festival. If anyone can teach sewing or costume making please let us know.
