What is the “pre-IB” programme?
The pre-IB programme is a locally developed set of grade 9 and 10 courses that help students prepare for the rigorous nature of the Diploma Programme in Grade 11 and 12.
Introduction of IB Learner Attributes
Delivery of the Ontario Curriculum
Enriched curriculum and learning experiences that align
with entrance into the Grade 11 IB Diploma courses
Introduction to the 5 learning competences outlined in the
Approaches to Learning document
Mentoring of specific skills needed to complete the
assessments in the IB Diploma Programme in Grade 11 and 12
Introduction to the concepts surrounding the CAS project and the Extended Essay.

Day One:
• Students register and receive time table
• They will spend the morning in team building activities led by our Link Crew
• Welcome Assembly and Pizza Lunch
• Visit all semester 1 classes and meet teachers
First Month:
• Partnered with an IB Mentor
• Meet the Peer Coaches
• Visit Extra-curricular Fair
