For years I lived on the Southeast Florida coast where my wife Lynn and I studied
and photographed the reefs and wrecks from West Palm Beach to Fort Lauderdale.
We did most of our diving on a stunning reef line from Boynton Beach south to
Delray Beach. We also frequented the Upper Florida Keys, with its famous wrecks
and pristine reefs. Read more www.charleswhitingphotography.com
We make annual pilgrimages to “bluewater” destinations. In the past those tripshave taken us to locations in the Bahamasincluding the alluring blue holes at the CaySal Banks, the Exuma Cays, and theNorthwest Bahamas area that includes CatCay, Port Lucaya and Bimini. We have alsovisited the Cayman Islands and thespectacular Bloody Bay Wall. In April, 2007,I spent several days diving on the famous“Nuclear Fleet,” at Bikini Atoll in theMarshall Islands.
The coral reef and oceanscapephotographs you'll see here are from thoselocations.
When I relocated to Denver Colorado in2009, landscape photography became anexciting and challenging new area of studyfor me.
