GET STARTED & STAY ON TRACK...BODY FAT EVALUATION LOCATION: Fitness Branch (361-0268) Excessive body fat has been demonstrated to be associated with such health-related problems as coronary artery disease, hyper-tension, adult-onset diabetes, obstructive pulmonary disease and osteoarthritis. Too little body fat, as seen in individuals with eat-ing disorders, exercise addiction, and certain diseases, such as cystic fibrosis, can also lead to serious physiological dysfunction. Considering the profoundness of the health problems associated with too much or too little body fat, it is no surprise that the assessment of body composition has become a widespread and meaningful evaluation used by personal trainers. The Y offers you the opportunity to incorporate body fat evaluations into your fitness training. Your body fat percentage will be taken by our qualified staff and your records will be kept on a computer program for those who wish to re-test every three months.
