Attendance and Tardies

Students may enter the classrooms at 7:15am.

Anyone entering the classroom after 7:45am is considered tardy.

The instructional day ends at 2:45pm. Please schedule all appointments after school

hours. Students who attend school regularly and on

time are more successful.

Homework Policy

Nightly reading – 5 days a week – 20 minutes Up to 20 minutes of additional assignments Placed in agendas daily Student’s RESPONSIBILITY!!! Builds

independence and holds them accountable Students should be able to complete

assignments with minimal assistance (let me know if something seems way too difficult)

What Can You Do To Help?

Attend your child’s 1st Quarter Conference–End of October

Talk to your child about his/her day Discuss and ask questions about what your child is

reading Check Thursday Folders, sign and return Provide a nightly routine/quiet place for homework Sign agendas nightly Provide a regular bedtime and a good breakfast Be on time to school-in the room by 7:30am-ready for

instruction by 8:00am Set goals- Expect your child to do his/her best!!
