WINTER 2017-2018 This year has been a very busy and exciting year at Regency. We celebrated many milestones including the grand opening of the Regency Clubhouse. Every year, Regency expands its variety of lifestyle programming and next year promises to bring new fitness classes, events, resident groups, and more! We partnered with our close neighbor, South Meadows Renown Hospital, to provide educational health and wellness seminars and cooking demonstrations. Homeowners enjoyed hearing from professional health experts who talked about stroke prevention, health insurance, and heart health. Another great program that was established this year was a continuing education series sponsored by Truckee Meadows Community College. Educators shared their knowledge about a variety of topics including the history of the Donner Party, Nevada’s role in the Civil War, and how to cook Indian food. In the coming months, residents can enjoy specialty coffee classes, smart phone classes, and more. We were also thrilled to add a variety of fitness classes including tai chi, swimming techniques, and fitness boot camp. Existing resident groups such as the arts and craft group and the travel group continue to grow as the community continues to welcome new residents. Whatever your interests are, 2018 promises to introduce you to new and exciting lifestyle programming and will keep your social calendar packed with activities!
